Algo infalible que ocurre dentro de uno, que azota sin cesar, por el egoismo de si mismo, traiciona la logica y rason, el bienestar y el favor que un dia se otorgo, lleno de fervor y conmocion, plagando sin vergüenza los pasos por tomar, como castillos de arena – bonito y asombroso pero destruidos sin el cuidar… Una locura y burla total, instiga armas por tomar, ya que los instintos no paran de desplegar; enfrentandose a la frialdad que atenta con la integridad de lo ideal. Suspiro con la amonestacion que si no cesó, pierdo los sesos.

Things I Learned Recently. September was a crazy month; Humility,
Serendipity, Loyalty, and Cowardice. The start of great projects – the
kind that can greatly come to fruition or royally fail. Humility I
knew of already, but when expressed by others, it can really deepen
your understanding of it. Serendipity, a beautiful thing; you either
take its heed and reinforce your conviction amidst waves of obstacles,
or you let it go to waste. Loyalty; I had friends and alleged good
ones too….and though one can selflessly give, not many will repay
the generosity when one needs a little bit of – Self. Cowardice; this
just expounds on Loyalty: I’m a relentless man, I’ll stand ground
(physically and metaphorically) more so when you talk the talk, but in
astounding fashion, people can retreat from
(physically/emotionally/metaphorically) their word and character -
like a bipolar patient.

You can build wings for people who grew up believing they could never
possibly fly in this world… repair them even, and end up with their
talons pricking your eyes as they take off ungratefully.

October is in the clouds.

Yesterday, I had a chat with a friend of 14 years. Aside from her
perception that my lifestyle has greatly affected my character… and
though my history and actions can vouch for my argument contrary to
that, she said something that left me speechless; “I would rather talk
to my boyfriend and have a happy conversation, than talk about this
upsetting issue with you.”

A spear of 14 years gets a splinter for the first time. I’ll no longer be a spear then, I’ll be two daggers.

Though that’s an isolated case, it carries on the theme of people
being reactionary to current events without a just and deserving
assessment.

It’s true, an Elephant never forgets. It’s true, Engineers have blue
prints of all their works.

You ever get that feeling of wanting to shout so loud and almost cry? But not cry out of sadness, but out of a physical anguish of not being able to exert this force within you adequately (or even accurately)? As if punching the Moon wouldn’t be enough, watching its shards float off, causing massive tides and a horrid catastrophe, but even then, that picture barely exemplifies this [s]urge within?

And you open your eyes and the city is there, unfazed by your turmoil, your torment, almost laughing at you, so grand out in the plane, flat, while your struggle or pull inside has no apparent reason, form, or foreseeable end…
So the awe of life around you knocks you on your back and your eyes meet the moon, your only consoler, the faithful companion higher than the city, above everybody, above the trivial. And you stare so intently because its radiance offers you hope, because the moon is the only hole in this cave, in this pit of life, and the light it emanates is the light of the god(s).

But now you feel like escaping, so you get up, jumping higher and higher, traversing mountains, climbing colossal heights all just to stand on your toes and cling your fingers on the opening and getting out! By now you’ve gathered enough experiences to convince you that maybe the journey you’re taking to extricate yourself from Earth is actually the escape itself. The hole in the sky is now reflecting something in you, like a belly button at the center of it all, giving a peek to the celestial body – yours, mine, ours.

And as you render yourself immobile, betrayed by the distance of the moon and its altitude, it’s allure as an exit, you raise your arms towards it and gently drop back in laughter, maniacal laughter… ”You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, though stars so bright and glorified in numbers, you are the only point my eyes meet – whether wide opened or shut, it sees and fixes on you.” Your back to the ground again and your laughter at its highest, you wish Moon connects to you and levitates you to it, whether to free you from your flagitiousness or to reverberate the waves, the tides that once took you out to Sea.

Looking forever into space… because the darkness within is a much greater and abysmal dive.

Paralleling Harmony and Belief

Here’s a thought I’ve been marinating for quite a while that will sure make for a rough and incendiary post; Basing myself on only the people that I’ve come across with, I’ve noticed that a good percentage that value themselves, earn a good living, and have no deep rooted emotional baggage have one thing in common; they have some sort of religious discipline. I’m not endorsing a creed, just saying that even at its minimal level, faith and an exercise of it is prevalent amongst them. The far less percentage that prowl about senseless or without direction, simply taking every quick lowball offer from life, slaves to the whims of others’ ambitions, and subjects to physical and emotional trauma and abuse, are essentially the ones without a religious or rigorous philosophical discipline. [Tension building up?] I’m not saying that the unfortunate or “outsiders” in this world are like that because they don’t practice a creed [hold back your pitchforks]. What I’m delicately getting at is that most of my friends, acquaintances, and unimportant people that I’ve encountered in life, who consciously make a show of “not giving a fuck” and having a huge disdain for anything spiritual or philosophical, have the most mental and emotional trauma.

This observation is challenging for me because I’ve always been keen to challenge any believer, religious junkie, or simply a dogma. Though the parallels between success and faith (tied in with creed or spirituality) will be argued with fervor… and though I anticipate inflammatory diatribe from fellow agnostics, I stand by what I say until I manage to be convinced otherwise [I'm completely open to it].

Everlasting Moments

Earlier this year I saw a beautiful and touching film by Jan Troell called Everlasting Moments. It may not have garnered a lot of attention, but once you see it, you’ll feel like you’ve experienced something pure. A film devoid of explosions and an over-budgeted script, but full of warmth and a longing of times long gone; where characters and family valued…and innocence respected.

The Rape Tunnel?

It’s a shame to see the avenues of expression abused and demeaned. Of course, the mere fact that someone (like me) is writing about this, only serves the purpose that this person wants…attention.

Seems to me like a lot of so-called artists now a days will do anything in the name of Art. Check this guy from Ohio out… and his rape tunnel; wherein he invites people to crawl through it and once they reach the end, he will gain control over you and subsequently, rape you. Why you may ask? Well, to “have an impact on people” of course! To “change up the art scene in Ohio.”

Really? If that’s the case, then I invite all of you to go through this tunnel, with an object in hand, and create a scene of his own blood on his body…and hopefully mutilate him for life. You know… just so you can IMPACT him forever, just as he wants it so.

Check him out and please, please go make an impact on this man.

Free Roman Polanski!

Free Roman Polanski!

The woman has pleaded to have the charges dropped; she PUBLICLY forgave him, and has moved on with her life. With that said, why is the USA STILL pursuing him? He rightfully fled the country (NOT because he was a coward) but because he was NEVER going to have a fair trial at the hands of a celebrity crazed judge who had his own agenda. The lady DOES NOT want this, so why should the US step in? She has even stated that it would be a “cruel joke” if he is brought over after so many years. This is not the US being righteous and shit….this is the US just being shit; feeling snubbed by a foreigner…a “short evil foreigner that looks nothing like us.”
When there’s an altercation, the cops ask you: “Want to press charges?” If you say NO, they leave you be. So why in the hell are they NOT letting HER be? You don’t see groups of people foregoing the person’s decision and going out on a personal vendetta, so this just doesn’t jive.

What are our real motives behind our apparent will for justice? I can’t help but think of everyone that’s crying out “GET HIM!” as mothers to grown up sons and daughters; shouting for his apprehension and denouncing him, as if to protect Samantha and Justice, like they would their adult offspring who need none of the protecting. Don’t we become the perpetrators by instigating this notion of justice, opening the scabs and hurting the victim YET AGAIN? Media frenzy and hoopla is the only thing that comes to mind as I doubt that ‘justice’ is trying to be served here. Like I said, this is just the US trying to get back at a man who left their grasp.

Don’t even dare mention that we need to set an example.

California has a prison overcrowding issue and they have released a lot of criminals because of it; are we to believe that these criminals pose a lesser threat than Polanski? Why is money being squandered away for his apprehension, when the state bankrupt?

“BUT HE NEEDS TO PAY FOR HIS CRIME!”

Says who? The victim is no longer a teen; she is a reasoning woman who wants this to remain in the past (whatever her reasons may be). Why can’t we respect that? Who are we doing justice to, when again, she cares for this matter not. The case may still be open in a court room, but for the victim…it has long been closed.

Long live Roman Polanski!
